Angela Edwards is currently completing her final year of the Advanced Diploma of Opera at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Here she received the Chapple Bremner Award in both 2007 and 2006 and the Costa Rosa Hasras Award in 2006.
 
Recent roles include Zerline from Auber's Fra Diavolo, Adina from Donizetti’s L’Elisir d’Amore, Lisetta from Haydn’s La Vera Costanza and Amore from Gluck's Paride ed Elena. In 2007 and 2008 Angela sang as a soloist for the Sutherland Choral Society, the Conservatorium Early Music Ensemble and Victoriana! Angela has also performed frequently at musical society concerts around Sydney. In the 2007 National Eisteddfod she was Highly Commended for her performances in the Operatic Aria, Oratorio and French Chanson sections. Angela has also completed a Bachelor of Music with Honours from the University of New South Wales, specialising in the work of French composer Clerambault. During this time she performed as a soloist with UNSW Collegium Musicum Choir and the Burgundian Consort.
 
Recent recitals have included works by Bach, Handel, Mozart, Donizetti, Schubert, Gounod and Bizet. Angela's upcoming roles include Mme Silberklang from Mozart’s Der Shauspieldirektor and Ida from Die Fledermaus.
