KGR Design

KGR Design is a business specialising in design, art and photography direction, production of digital artwork, and supervision and quality control of suppliers including pre-press, printers, output bureaus and sign companies.
It came into existence firstly as a business in January 1999 and then a company in December 2002. Director and Senior Designer, Karen Riethmuller has around 30 years in the industry, with extensive experience in graphic design and advertising, not only with print media and signage, but radio and television ad supervision. Responsible, thorough, creative yet pragmatic, and attentive to detail, Karen’s list of clients is as varied as her experience.
They include: Australian Centre for Construction Innovation, Australian National Maritime Museum, Australian Singing Competition, Basis Capital Pty Ltd, Belle Magazine, Burwood Council, Coffee Dominion, Cameo Interpretation, Department of Corrective Services, DYO Backup, Editorial Resources, Great Lakes Tourism, Holcam Creative, Housley Computer Communications, Hurstville City Council, Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, M&C Saatchi, Meat & Livestock Australia, Ministry of Energy and Utilities, Mount Kaputar National Park, Neerg Seminars, Neustein Urban, Parramatta City Council,  Roberts Weaver, Sydney Omega Ensemble, Thinkspace Pty Ltd, Simply Budgets, and Trademark Design.
Karen’s industry skills have responded to continual change, from the rendition of drawings by hand to the manipulation of computer images, to changes in style and fashion, typography, layout, and the demands of opportunities of electronic communication. Despite changes to the tools of the trade, the principles of graphic design are unchanged.  She is happy to work direct with clients, liaise with consultants, or work as part of a team.
