MOST serves the community by setting up and administrating music and educational scholarships, prizes and awards.
 
This entails:
bullet organising competitions
bullet event management
bullet administration
bullet promotion and publicity
bullet acting as a trustee
bullet monitoring the payment of prizes and awards
bullet professional consultancy
bullet offering businesses and individuals the opportunity to support the arts and other areas
through sponsorship of scholarships, prizes and awards,
including the provision of naming rights
bullet offering tax deductibility for donations of $2.00 or more
bullet establishing advisory committees to provide niche expertise
