Emily completed her Bachelor of Music Performance at the Victorian College of the Arts in 2006.  During her time there she performed as a mezzo in excerpts from Madama Butterfly, Lakme and Carmen, then later as a soprano the Countess in Le nozze di Figaro and Echo in Ariadne auf Naxos. She was also the recipient of the Grace Durling Award and the Ross Hartnell Memorial Scholarship.  As part of the scholarship Emily performed as a soloist with the Victorian Welsh Male Choir. She has also performed for industry and clubs such as the Athenaeum Club, the Society of St George and at St Paul’s Cathedral.
Recently, Emily was a finalist in the National Liederfest Competition and winner of the Joan Arnold Award. She performed the role of Summer Woman in the Victorian Youth Opera production of the Snow Queen.
